No thoughts on record. Movement between styles is doable generally: difficulty varies based on what kind of moves, I don't want to elaborate on precise difficulty because depends on your background and experience. There are tons of threads in the HF forum for you to snoop around on inter-style movements.
Obviously ability to prove you can short is important.
If you're interested in doing L/S equity eventually, no need to go to Sands. Sands is a LO powerhouse and has 30 years of reputation, a really great experience on resume if you're wanting to do LO or even PE. Going to L/S after that just doesn't make sense. I'd say find a L/S internship if that's what you want to do eventually.
Just received a first-round phone interview for the summer internship. Will be happy to discuss it in detail with whoever are working towards this opportunity!

Growth investor out of DC area. Long only. No idea on its summer internship program.
Thanks! Any thoughts on their record and would an exit to L/S equity HF be possible?

Hey I also have an interview for this firm do you mind sharing your experince and questions asked ?
It's mostly revolved around a stock pitch.
Prepare to have 1-2 longs. Ideally should be growth-oriented in thesis since they're, well, a growth-oriented firm.
What are the hours like over there?
