Blackrock question
I'm particularly interested if anyone heard from Blackrock AMG Superday because I know that someone on the board has received an offer for PAG.
6 kids from my school were sent to AMG Superday (2 different Superdays). 4 of them were already rejected (3 rejected last week and one rejected yesterday). I don't know of the status of the other kid remaining besides me.
I was given a positive feedback but I've been contacted twice already that they are still confirming a few details of the summer internship and that they will be in touch with me soon.
So my question I guess is do you think it's jargon for waitlisted or are they just not sure which group I will be placed in since I know that interns are placed into groups?
I want to say that the other kid probably has not heard either and I don't think they will reject all 6 of us from target school.
If they have not bumped you then I would think you have a chance. When was your superday?
Yeah so I found out that the other kid got rejected also ... so 5 out of 6 who went from my school already got rejected besides me...My superday was like 3 weeks ago but they kept calling me each week saying that they're still confirming a few details....so nerve wrecking! What do you think?
This is exactly what happened to me, but with Merrill. I had a superday with them for S&T a few weeks ago, and they just keep saying they are working out a few details. I do know of some kids at the superday who were rejected already as well. Don't know what to make of it.
If they keep calling, I'd say they're certainly interested. If they thought you were a chump, they'd have dinged you as they've already done to others. Likely they're playing for time to determine exactly how many interns they'll want/take this summer.
Sigh...i don't know what to do ... hope they call today! Some ppl on the board have gotten offers but I know it's not for AMG. Do you guys think that it's possible that they're done figuring out their offers for other group and not for AMG?
