Post-MBA HF (L/S Equity) vs. MBB offer

I know I like analytical work, thinking about businesses, and working with smart people which both a HF and MBB provides. Both job routes would require some travel, some stress, but could be really rewarding (and lucrative). I was hoping for some advice on how to think about these two options; money matters far less than having an enjoyable career. The "do-over" MBA card is used & both paths do not have much cross-over so want to make sure there are hopefully no regrets.

 

Yes both are very analytical, stressful, but intellectually rewarding environments but extremely different roles. Are you more of a maker/doer or would you rather mostly think? This is speaking very broadly but at MBB you'd be thinking of strategies (typically more on the LT side), working in teams and with management, and executing. At a L/S HF you'd be more focused on assessing existing strategies and considering whether companies can hit NT earnings (more difficult than it sounds).
