What core skills does Consulting boil down to?
So it seems like IB, S&T, AM, ER, etc. each have their own major skills needed to succeed, that separate good analysts from great analysts (i.e. S&T = analytical, charismatic, calm under pressure, fast-paced. IBD = hungry, detail-oriented, perfectionist).
What would that 'ideal' skillset be for consulting? I've only found vague answers here, and was hoping someone could specify.
