Indochino prices go up - better alternatives?

So after holding off on purchasing a new suit for three weeks, Indochino raised prices across the board (about $75 or so) for their suits. I really liked their fit at under $300, but now that they're in the $400-500 range, I'm wondering if there's a better alternative in the same price range?

Right. The Essentials are certainly not worth that price. Suit Supply looks good. If they have an actual physical location in your city (as in mine) all the better. I'd check them out.

I'm not sure if they are still running the promo..but Dragon Inside was buy 2 get 1 free on their suits last week. Use the code "3-for-2-suits" at checkout

Honestly, most people can simply buy off the rack and get a dart in the back or something to fit the shirt better. I get 15% off everything at Indochino because of a thing I am in and I still largely prefer Pink or Brooks.

I am consistently surprised at how cheap people go with their suits on this website. That said, definitely prioritize fit over material if you have to...

Arden Reed's tech is the most impressive of the bunch and will probably give the best fit. I don't know what city you're in but you might be able to get an actual custom made suit in person for $500-$1000. Got a $900 quote for a suit (loro piana) a while back.

The made to order stuff (especially suits) is still cheaper than buying a $1000 (on sale) wso/">suit at Brooks and spending $150 to get it tailored. Patterned shirts can also be problematic.

And you can easily buy a $250-300 Joseph Abboud wool suit and have it tailored. People get such a hard on for all these little customizations, yet they are largely irrelevant.

I think Indochino is still cheap for suits, quality depending on a lot of things. The shirts though aren't. I like the shirt I got from them, but not so much that I feel the need to outfit my entire wardrobe.

Suits under $300 were great from Indochino otherwise I wouldn't do it. Century 21 and Nordstrom Rack are great for getting cheap, pretty decent quality suits that with a little tailoring should fit most builds.

I got a free shirt from Indochino and would never pay for one. BB and CT are way better
