Software Engineer who wants to break into finance

I'm a computer science graduate from a T25 university. I'm interested in pursuing a career in finance. What graduate degree/pathway should I follow?

I'm interested in the more quantitative careers. What's the outlook for these careers? Pay? Is the career worth it?

To be honest, if you are in tech right now, and you are doing ok, and you enjoy your job, the long-term outlooks for careers in both industries look pretty similar. In tech, you'll earn low to mid six figures, and in finance, you'll earn low to mid six figures.

A lot of the money has already been made. If you are trying to get in after 2010, you kinda missed the party.

But if finance is something you truly enjoy, and you enjoy it more than tech, I guess this is an OK place to be too.

I work for Microsoft. I did internships for Apple and Intel. To be honest, I just want to make more money. I'm not sure what ways I could make more money at this point. I figured that finance was a good place to be since I minored in it, and found the classes pretty interesting. The only problem for me is that it's an extroverted field because I'm more of an introvert.

Are there any paths that could lead me to more money?
