CS NY Tech vs JPM SF Tech
thoughts on the two - particularly in terms of exits, rep, and comp - which would you pick if you had the option

Career Resources
Definitely JP. JP isn’t as strong in tech as they are in other industries, still 3rd behind GS/MS but gap is bigger in tech.
that said, CS tech had a lot of departures after Archegos (I’m in the group) and they just can’t compete at the level JP can in tech. Even if you strongly prefer NY the better career decision is JP.
Like I said im at CS so I’m welcome to follow ups but that’s my honest opinion
Does CS Tech SF coverage team run its own models?
JP easy
Depends if you are referring to the JPM M&A SF Tech team versus the coverage team. Avoid the coverage team at all costs, but I would take the M&A Tech team over CS Tech NY.
Can you please repost your comment in the HL thread. It bugged out.
