Mizuho Investment Banking or Citi Corporate Banking?
I have two superdays on the same day, one for Mizuho Investment Banking and one for Citi Corporate Banking. I'm going to do both, but I was wondering which internship is "better" or which one should I prioritize more? On one hand, I like Citi as a firm more and it also has the brand name, but it's not investment banking. On the other hand, Mizuho is investment banking, which I prefer more, but the firm doesn't even have that many M&A deals and it's not as well-known. Which one is a better opportunity? I know I could potentially lateral from Citi CB to IB or I could do Mizuho IB and then recruit again for another bank. Please give some advice, thank you!
Citi Corp Banking. But no right answer here. Do your own DD by speaking with ppl and what appeals to you. Lot of overlap btw Corp & IB.
Could you please give your reasoning as to why? Thank you!
Get the offer first and you'll get a better feel about the people after the interview process. Can ask follow-ups too so don't overthink it right now. Good luck
That's true, I also might not even end up with either offer so it's too early to think about that. Thank you for your great advice!
are you sure you're not a talking weasel?
