Night Analyst?
Anyone know anything about ML's Night Analyst Program for Juniors? I just want to know whether it's worthwhile program. Thanks.

My Limited Thoughts:
I have seen resumes of NYU students who did this program, and they seemed to have an easy time parlaying that into a SA offer from an investment bank.
Seems worthwhile.
Is it open exclusively to Stern or other schools in NYC as well? Columbia?
Yeah I saw that posted as well. I dunno if I would want to do it at night though. Don't you have an offer yet?
No offer yet. I have to send app by Sept. 14th.
I wouldn't mind doing it at night, especially if it helps getting an SA offer. (Thanks for the input Devils Advocate)
And if I don't get it, at least it's some free interview practice!
Well... this is what they have for description for those who are interested...

Hours Per Week: On average a Night Analyst will work two nights per week, although with school schedules permitting - three nights per week. Typically, nights will begin around 6:00pm and last until at least 12:00am, although Night Analysts will often be required to stay later to complete their work. Lastly, Night Analysts will be given the appropriate amount of time off during mid-year and final examinations.
Out of curiosity do they offer compensation?
Yes they do, $15/hr.
No more than 20 hours/week
Met a guy (NYU) at a bar once who was doing this. If my drunken memory serves me well, it helped him a lot for summer internships and got an offer from both Goldman and Lazard (he chose Lazard).
where did you find out about this? i cannot find a link on Merrill's website.
Program, such as these, are rarely publicized online and usually target to specific universities, sometimes via email to specific departments who then inform students.
