Address/Phone Number Dilemma

Hi guys,

I'll keep it short. I'm currently in Madrid until end of August. I am sending out my resume to firms in Boston, looking for a fall internship during classes (i only have 1 to take).

What should I do about my Address/phone Number?

  1. Put Spanish address and number?
  2. Put cell phone (currently inactive) and will-be boston address (confirmed/signed)
  3. Put home address and phone number (so someone can direct them to me?)

I don't want to confuse them as to why i'm applying with a spanish address and everyhting. I will have to do all communications through email and skype calls (for phone interviews, etc.)

Any insight would be appreciated.

Boston address, Spanish number. No one's going to mail you stuff if they want to contact you, but they might call and you want to be reachable that way. At the worst they'll think you're an international who's attending school in Boston.

Currently: future neurologist, current psychotherapist Previously: investor relations (top consulting firm), M&A consulting (Big 4), M&A banking (MM)

Alternatively, get a Skype number. It's pretty cheap, and you can just sign up for the 3-month plan for the duration that you're overseas. You can get a 617 number on Skype (that's what I have) so no one will know the difference.
