Help me choose a car!
Okay, so I see that there are some car guys on this forum and I need a new car. I want something that’s fun to drive, and cheap like less than 15k. Also something that I can mod to squeeze some extra power out of it. Also nothing older than 15 years. Any suggestions?
Mazda Miata MX-5. The cult classic is the first gen NA model with pop-up headlights, which ran from 1989-1997, but they're all good. You can get one cheap in good condition that's newer than a 2005 model easily under 15k.
such a drift car haha
No
All Miatas are lame.
That power to weight tho
The Sentinel M-32 is a good one, 148.5 hp, ok torque, all wheel drive
148hp sounds terrible - where is this produced? I’ve never heard of this.
It’s from GTA.

First a car from gta and now a plane, nice. You’re not very tricky triangles.

Eh - if your budget is $15k, buy a Honda Accord with an upgraded engine. They all have V6 options except for the most recent iteration, I believe.
It won't be particularly fun to drive, but it'll run forever with minimal repairs while you save your money for what you really want.
$15k used luxury cars are a money trap.
This is the only good advice. 100% agree on the money trap part. You can find really solid cars for around that price point, but be prepared to spend thousands more maintaining them. Don't go German fresh out of school unless you're a car fanatic and find a sweet deal, and are willing to overspend on them (source: I did this).

It's so true. I'm roughly at the end of the curve on a BMW that is, roughly, 8 years old - low mileage, well kept - and getting ready to dump it as when I creep up towards 70k mileage it's going to be a dumpster fire.
Haha I just bought an 8yo F10 528xi (not the sexiest car but im on a budget) with only 20k miles on it. 2012 is my favorite year for BMW and once I save a little more I intend on bankrupting myself through the purchase of a E92 M3 (2012).
Honda Accords and Toyota Camrys are probably the best cars in that budget
Yeah the Accord V6 coupe is a pretty nice car.
