did you get yours on the Libyan or Mongolian market? I’m looking to get one, and based on the consensus on this site it seems like Libyans are cheaper but Mongolians are higher quality

Libya for sure. I keep mine surrounded by walls and if they were Mongolian they would easily get past a great wall

This is honestly the one thing that makes me sad about IB hours. I can't wait to have a family just so I can raise 3 large dogs (think Husky/Golden).

I've been thinking about getting a puppy (think Golden/Husky/Shephard) ever since I was little (think 4/5/6 years old). My family member (think aunt/uncle/cousin) had a pet (think goldfish/dog/cat), and every time I went to their place (think 1BR/2BR/studio apartment) and played with it (think fetch, laser pointers, wrestling) I've wanted one.

In terms of puppies, I am in the same boat. I currently got a puppy over quarantine and plan on hiring a walker to come play/walk/feed him twice a day. I would get to see him before I go into the office and when I get home, in addition to having some free time over the weekends to play or bring him to the park. I also recommend if you live close to the office, running home during a lunch break or anytime you have to get out of the office.

I will definitely advise against getting a dog while working banking hours, if that is not obvious. I had one before I started my analyst stint and I was lucky enough that I could get my parents to take care of it. Started out being a temporary setup, which by now has become more or less permanent. Also, if you get a dog, you will want to spend extra time with it the first 1-2 years to bond with it and train it properly. Perhaps if you are further up in the hierarchy you can get away with it.

How about getting a plant for the office to start with? Spiky or poisonous for extra points.
