Non target vs target - who’s the better Analyst

Saw the thread about who the guy who prioritized speaking with non target kids during recruiting. Here’s a question for AS1 and above. Who would you rather have as an incoming analyst? State school kid who worked his ass off to be there but who does not have a crazy academic background. Or a kid from Yale or an equivalent school who didn’t have to hustle as hard but is a smart kid. I imagine there are pros and cons to both.
