Non target vs target - who’s the better Analyst
Saw the thread about who the guy who prioritized speaking with non target kids during recruiting. Here’s a question for AS1 and above. Who would you rather have as an incoming analyst? State school kid who worked his ass off to be there but who does not have a crazy academic background. Or a kid from Yale or an equivalent school who didn’t have to hustle as hard but is a smart kid. I imagine there are pros and cons to both.
Not an analyst but after knowing other interns, non-targets are absolute dogs. Some targets have been lazy ngl but that could be a coincidence. Wouldn’t say there’s a difference between the two at the end of the day. It comes down to personality and work ethic, no matter what school you go to
