What are divorce rates in IB?
I’ve heard a lot from those in the industry that relationships are extremely strained during the first 5-10 years. Anyone with personal experience?

If 41% of first marriages end in divorce, it has to be noticeably higher than 50% in IB. The amount of travel, hours and stress are quite difficult for many couples. Once you layer in kids on top of that, it becomes even more difficult.
That being said, it is always circumstance specific. Does your spouse truly appreciate and realize how much time you will be working? Do they appreciate the perks that come with it (financial well-being, free firm trips, miles and points accrued towards personal vacations, etc.).
