PE opening vs. BB Commodities S&T opening

Hi, need some career advice. I have an offer from a prestigious BB doing commodities S&T, but they want me to do an MBA to get promoted to associate. Another offer from a not so well known global 1bn+ PE fund where I can join as an Associate immediately (no need for MBA). I am leaning toward the PE fund but I know the BB will pay much higher bonuses and it's easier to switch banks but not so easy to switch funds. Which option would yield the greatest return for minimal risk, and provide an interesting career?

Ukon:
Well known + global = 1bn+ fund?

Doesn't sound very convincing to me.

he said "not so well known." which is the opposite of "well known."

the fishy part to me is the possibility that someone, especially in COMMODITIES at a bb, would present to him an offer letter that says, "Your start date is 2-3 years from now, contingent on your application to, acceptance to, enrollment in, and successful completion of a Masters in Business Administration"
