matayo:

do most of you guys usually put experience above education?

I was under the impression that after you've been out of school a couple years, actual work experience moves up. If that's not accurate, I'll need to revisit the format.

I was under the impression that was the procedure if you had been out of school for lets say... a few years? you're coming up on two, so I'm not 100% what the custom is best to get second opinions

however, because of people's tendency to read from top to bottom, i usually like to put light stuff on the top and dense stuff at the bottom, because it makes the resume look less intimidating

also, has GPA been omitted on purpose?

.

I agree about the periods, but none of the descriptions are full-sentences. In the position position description, I used periods just to separate different points, whereas the second position has only one point. Any suggestions on a better format?

I think once you're 2 years out of school that experience should be first as you have it... also don't see a need for GPA unless it's worth highlighting (above 3.8). Some might disagree, but I don't think SAT scores are relevant at all. You took that test 7+ years ago. I'm just going to guess that you're a different person now. In a few years when you need more room on your resume feel free to drop the fraternity stuff as well.

Yes, put experience above education, especially if you're going after other finance positions. Include GPA / SAT - if not, you'll likely be asked for it or people will wonder why you left it off (SAT less so though).

realistically, no one is going to ask about your SAT the SAT has undergone a big change twice over the past 10 years (used be out of 1600, then it was out of 2400, now it's out of 1600 again), so i highly doubt anyone remembers what the signficance of xyz score is

GMAT might be a different matter
