Investment banking resume/cv

So, I already have an investment banking summer analyst internship for this summer (which is not included in the current resume). Nevertheless, I would you guys to take a look at it and make some further suggestions (i.e. small font, too wordy and etc.)

Admin: could you please keep my thread here? I wasn't getting many responses in the resume forum...thank you :)

I think this resume is already up. I remember the Peru Prison Guard at the bottom.

I apologize for posting it twice. But I originally had it under the public resume forum folder but it wasn't very active over there so i decided to post it here.

thx

Peruvian maximum security prison! I bet you are getting tired of talking about that for 5 minutes, at least, every interview.

Yes, EVERY interviewer asks me about that. i basically memorized the "story". it's quite sad though, because i took care of kids

Makes me glad to live in the US. Regardless, its probably one of the most interesting things Ive seen on a resume. I don't think its a bad thing, it will make you more memorable.

I am sure all the comments you will get would be minor on this. You have the experience.

Although the format is aesthetically pleasing, there is generally a lack of numbers. Try to quantify some of the deals you worked on.

Gomi, quantify the deals? how? give out the deal sizes? i am personally skeptical of resumes which read "blah blah which increased revenue by 20%"...how do you measure that??? how would you quantify a typical banking intern work? just pull out random numbers?

thanks for the advice, but I can't think of ways to quantify my exp...there is no way other than out right lying...how am i going to back the numbers anyway? "uh...i think my work reduced the working hours of my analysts and associates by 2 hours"????

it would be nice to get some advice from actual/former analysts/associates (IBD).

By quantifying, I mean adding in numbers anywhere you can. For example, you research investments as an investments summer intern. Well, how many investments did you research? As for the IB work, were there tight deadlines (i.e. complete presentation slide within 2 hour window). Something along those lines.
