Resume format looks good. If no other transactions, try and flush out more detail for the ESOP bullet. Elaborate on the marketing materials section. Do you have any other valuation samples to bring to the resume? Even if it was a just a pitch, I would try and incorporate an additional one.

Hit the MM, use your undergrad alumni network (much stronger).

Good luck.

  • Should be "CFA Level I Passed" or "CFA Level I Candidate" (I think? - fact check this)

o Distressed Grocery Store Supply Company Potential Sale ~$5 MM EV (canceled)

^ why random caps?

  • Change "C-level management" to "executive management" or simply "management"
  • Change I-bank intern title so that the dash is the same as the one in your dates
  • Very much discourage last auditor bullet. Always prefer examples over statements of "I have X skill"

I think the CFA should be "CFA Level I Candidate" or Level II if you passed Level I. Consult the CFA handbook. Big no-no to try and use that and fail to word it according to the guidelines.

You're right, the CFA Institute is pretty strict about the wording. I'll definitely consult the handbook but I believe a "CFA Level X Candidate" is signed up for that test or has not heard back about their results yet. I passed Level I but I'm not planning on taking Level II for a while

Still is ok to say you are a Level II candidate.

I didn't really mean to make this into a chain of replies, but this post is not true, and I am 100% sure. You have to be registered for a future sitting of the exam to say you are a candidate.

I recommend leaving your undergraduate GPA out. Your graduate GPA supersedes it and is much stronger. I think you would not really be questioned about it, and if so, you have an opportunity to explain around it rather than having your resume discarded and never have a chance to explain.

You have a strong resume, but you need to spin your relevant experience more so that there is less white space and more "content."

Put an relevant coursework that you may have done during your time at Loyola & UIllinois. What is your GPA for UIllionis? Be sure to list that as well. Have a location description & a bullet point for CFA Level I

Reorder your bullet points for your IBD experience so that "Performed....analyses" is the first point. It catches my eye and that is good. Elaborate more for "Prepared...clients" How many pitchbooks? how many numbers? quantify.

Bold "Selected Project Experience" and get rid of the bullet point and indent left

Your activities selection listing IBD and FiMarkets Asstn is repetitive.

Those are just some comments that I see immediately
