Should you say MS Office or type out excel, word, ppt....etc?
Hi was originally told to remove excel, word, and ppt from my resume and just put MS Office, but then my school's resume counselor (who has given me tons of bad advice) said to take off MS Office and list out the programs because some HR screenings automatically search for excel as a keyword. Is this true?
The real answer is that you should have neither, because it is automatically assumed that you have Office proficiency.
I agree with roymondito. Bloomberg is better to put on there.
Oh gotcha, I guess I kept it on there because I had been using the same resume for non-ibd jobs too and most of those non finance jobs always asked lol, but I need to make two different resumes I guess
