Sophomore resume
Hello. Im a sophomore looking to apply to BB and boutiques for sophomore internships. I kind of revamped my resume according to the advice I got from you guys. Any feedback would be appreciated. And ignore the first entry (spring analyst) under work experience for now as I will add more bullets to that once i actually start work
You gotta get rid of your touch typing accomplishment... that just made me laugh, sorry.
hahaha ok i jsut couldnt think of anything else to add lol
fairly sure u dont have a shot at bb internships this year-id try to get some boutique exp. first
This is a small point, but I feel like it's a bit unprofessional to put "MD" as an undergrad applicant. It makes it sound too much like you think you are already part of the IBD fraternity or whatever.
Alright. Thanks for the feedback ill fix it accordingly
Just a note King_Ari. I was really only looking for suggestions to make my resume look better, not predictions whether I was going to get a BB internship or not. I know its hard to get one , especially since I transferred and am new to all the clubs/organizations here.
Having everything under "Work and Leadership experiences" is vague. (As an example, we reviewed a resume where we changed the resume to have the following headings: "Teaching Experience" for two experiences, "Finance Experience" for others, and "Sales Experience" for the remaining experiences). Recruiters only spend 30 seconds reviewing resumes, and you want to leave a lasting impression about what you have to offer instantly after they look at it. Right now, I don't get that impression.
Also, your bullet descriptions need to give a sense of the overall scope of the work you completed
