Blackrock Financial Market Advisory (FMA)
Recently received a FT offer for this group and wanted to get some more up-to-date insight on where this group stands. I've read almost everything about this group that's been on WSO in the past and know they've done valuation of maiden lane vehicles, bank stress tests, and worked with Greek Bank.
Wondering what people think of this group in terms of comparisons to PMG/FO AM roles, exit opps, group culture, etc, mostly for the NYC office.
Also if anyone has any deeper understanding of what sort of skills one would build here (more focused on advisory vs valuation?) and if it is worth taking over something like BB IB if interested in a career in investing. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated.
