Sophomore Summer Backup: Ops, PWM or Comm. Banking?

I applied for S&T at various BB but haven't heard back yet. In the mean time, a few of my summer backups came through.

Hypothetically, if I do not get an S&T SA position this summer, I was wondering whether I should do Operations, PWM or Commercial Banking (all at BB)? Which one do you think it is easier to leverage into a S&T gig in my Junior Summer?

I am from a non-target but I have an extensive network of people which I think would help me greatly next summer.

 

don't do commercial banking... as for Ops vs PWM I think it depends what you would enjoy more, and what you would excel in. If there is cold calling and a lot of BS like that at your PWM internship, I say go for ops, but if it's a decent PWM group might as well take that one. At the end of the day it's up to you though.

 

Ops you will be doing repetitive data entry at best. PWM can be decent, but most likely will be busy work or cold calling/making packets for prospective clients. Commercial banking could be decent if you get into a credit internship or something.
