Think I screwed up my UBS PWM internship...

I saw this internship posting on my school's career website for an internship at UBS WM. I applied; also sent an email to the people at the office with my resume attached.

Came in for first round. They were impressed with my excel skills (at previous internship), and told me to wait for the next round.

Came in today for the second round. They told me they're choosing me and another person out of all the people that applied, and that they just have to run a background check on me, drug test, criminal record check, etc....then they told me to forward them my transcript...

On the posting for the job, they never had a "minimum", "required", or "preferred" GPA. They also never asked me about my grades or anything, and I didn't post my GPA on my resume; so it's not like I lied.

The problem is my GPA is shit. It's a 2.78 to be honest. They're really excited to take me on, but I am worried if they see my transcript they will deny me the internship. It's not like I'm officially hired. They told me it will take about 2-3 weeks for everything to clear (background checks with UBS), and that they want me to start as soon as October starts.

Please help me out fellow monkeys. I am scared shitless. This internship (even though it's just cold calling prospective clients) would help me out so much...not to mention I'm from a non-target and this would be a life changer. Please let me know what you would do in this situation.

I'm not originally from the US, so when I say that if we ever meet at a WSO event I will buy you a drink, I really do mean that.

Thanks.

If they never asked for it and you never lied about it, nothing to be worried about. Address it if you have to come to that bridge. Wouldn't worry about it. Contrary to elitist WSO, 2.78 isn't "that" bad anyway.

Congrats.

Hi! I'm a hopeful for an internship in AM and PWM. I'm horribly, terrified of the interview. Could you share the interview process and the questions they asked?
