Wealth Management a waste if time?
So my long term goal is to break into IB. I am graduating from my master's in finance in 3 days with a 3.28 GPA and I have a job interview for a wealth management role. I have 0 experience in finance. Is it a smart choice to work a year as a wealth manager (which is very sales-oriented) and then apply for IB, or is this just a waste of time?
Thanks for all answers!
