Like OMFG guys! How dare the first family travel on Air Force 1 and 2! How dare Air Force 2 use jet fuel! Mr. and Mrs. Obama were CLEARLY dead broke before they got to the White House so there is just NO WAY they could pay for anything for themselves. If tax dollars are paying, how dare the president and his family take a paid vacation! No one else in America ever takes paid vacations!! And I'm also ABSOLUTELY SURE that the first lady and president Obama spent 2billion frivolously in India, on themselves and without congressional approval.
This letter makes way too much sense. Man, thank goodness for the Detective who wrote this chain letter. Where would the US be without people like this?

I didn't post this to get so technical and point the finger at the president.. My point here is every time this man speaks on TV. he is preaching and teaching us how to be more economical, how to sacrafice a little to give people in need help, and how we can all do something to contribute... meanwhile it doesn't seem like he is making any effort to follow his own advice...
You guys are right.. all this money was totally necessary expenses... and the president lives by his word! he has given us everything he promised, the troops are out of Iraq.. The economy is booming and we reducing our debt everyday...

and for the record.. I didn't write this letter, and half the country probably saw it today.. Its funny.. bottom line
The president is never really on "vacation" he is always readily available to make the big calls. Bush was reading to small children when planes hit the towers and he was able to respond. I can't stand Obama either, but go after him on more legitimate issues then the fact that he went to visit his hometown on a jetliner because he has a massive staff of security and advisers.
I do agree about the Spain trip though. Michelle looked horrible on that one.

I understand my views are really strong, it took a lot to get them that way, especially the way today's going.. My rage is coming from other issues and coming out in this dumb thread. I'm totally wrong for accusing Obama of over spending and I shouldn't point the finger at such tedious things to judge his character which reflect the state of the economy and the way outsiders view our country

a deficit is a short fall in revenue and debt is technically like negative revenue.. So deficit is when you have revenue but don't meet the revenue goals.. Debt is losing money... i ment to put debt but I used deficit cause thats the word I copied and pasted out of WSJ
