After interview Etiquette-

Hello,
I had a job interview and sent a thank you note to the hiring manager. I have had a few interviews so far and never got a reply back from any of the companies I interviewed for when i sent follow up thank you notes but this guy replied back thanking me for coming for the interview and said he appreciated my follow up email. Now should I email him back? and if yes, to say what? Since I never received any replies from hiring managers, I have no clue what the etiquette is when they do reply, please help! And is it positive when they do reply?Thank you

But I already did that in my previous email which is the one he replied to. Wouldn't that be redundant?

If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense..... Dear Internet Users, Someday u will regret not reading me. Sincerely, Terms & Conditions....

Don't reply to that email. You'll look weird.
That. Unless you really have something to say or ask, don't. Consider that email finished. Also, in the future, send a card instead of an email. It will take longer to get there but snail mail means a lot to people and it will help them remember you.

Thanks guys, that's helpful. Is it a positive sign though when they do reply back? None of the previous hiring managers replied when I sent thank you notes.

Don't read too much into it. Whether people respond back imo has more to do with timing and personal tendencies than anything else.

My (potentially incorrect) opinion is that more often than not, whether or not you get the position is decided long before they see a thank you note. I've written the wrong name in a thank you not and still gotten a second round.
