curious about this too. seems like they won't start notifying until they've made a decision on every intern and have headcount. were your internships 4 weeks?

def team dependent. I looked at the company directory right before we left to see how many new analysts were joining and how many were at BlackRock previously and talked to a few. seems like my team had around 25-50% max return rates

recruiter just reached out to me asking me to let her know of any of my final interviews/offers. not sure what this is for, but my guess is that they def won't be letting us know this week, but if we let them know that we already have an offer/are in the final round for other companies, they'll us know before they let everybody else know. really do not know what the holdup is at this point and why they're so set on letting every intern know at the same time regardless of dept

it def was not an email sent to every summer analyst since it was addressed to me and was a reply to a previous email (even though she left me on read for more than week lol). but could be very possible that each recruiter just sent it individually to all the summer analysts assigned to them. am curious though if anybody else got any sort of communication

From my understanding there is a hiring freeze and they're going over the budget for who to take and who not to take.

Highly doubt this is true. I’m pretty sure the hiring freeze isn’t in effect anymore and they’re gonna continue with the same amount of new hires as previous years

not sure if blackrock has a waitlist system where they'll let you in if somebody else rejects their offer. but I imagine if you were a straight reject they would let you know via call within the next few days too

does anybody know if any non-finance teams have found out? (tech, hr, operations, etc)

update for people in a tech group or atlanta, my recruiter just called me with an offer

I don't think so. given that they give interns a week to sign their offer(and somebody said that they'll be sending out acceptances for 2 weeks), I'm thinking that this week will be the first round of acceptances. then next week depending on who didn't sign they'll give out a second wave of acceptances based on how many spots are left. unless you did something blatantly wrong during your internship and they don't want you back I don't think they're sending out rejections yet. just my thoughts though, cannot confirm this
