Are there any BB associates from non-target MBA programs?

Seems like nobody talks about this which leads me to believe they make up a lower percentage of Summer Associates compared to non-target undergrads in Summer Analyst roles?

There are less summer associate roles then there are summer analyst roles so it makes sense. That said, there are also fewer MBA students. There are definitely always BB summer associates from places like Rice/Indiana/Emory but I guess you might consider these places "semi targets". So it really depends on how far down the scale you are sliding.

Interesting. I just thought that the Alabama, Auburn, etc. caliber MBA students really don't stand much of a chance from reading on wso.

Id say there's VERY little chance of getting BB straight from non-target MBA programs, there's way too much competition from top 15 schools to have to go further down the list to regional MBA programs. That's not to say that you can't get into an Associate role at an investment bank as I've come across a few associates at no-name boutiques from very regional state school MBA programs .
