Are there ANY places hiring summer interns still?
Hey all,
I lost my summer position b/c of the Bear Stearns fiasco and am now looking for anything that might even come close to the experience I'd have gotten there.
Does anyone know any banks that are still hiring at this point? Or, does anyone know any equity research/asset management positions that are still taking applicants?
I come from a non-target w/a relatively small alumni base, and have struck out massively in attempting to find a place to work for the summer. I thought that most boutiques were still hiring, but I haven't found that to be the case. Though most small shops only take one - two interns, even those places have filled positions at this point. I went through the boutique list that "aspiringmonkeyisanidiot" put together, and had little success still.
If you don't want to post here, feel free to send me a PM, but please, if anyone has any leads at all, I'd appreciate you letting me know about them.
Yeah me too! I have been on the phone all day and although everyone feels bad we lost our Bear IBD internships, no one has room!
Me too but it was actually it JP Morgan position out in scottsdale AZ that got canceled for some odd reason.
