Background Check - Contact information for a background check
If your summer employers aren't really happy with you and you have to fill out there contact information for a background check, is this enough to get your offer rescinded?
I would put HR's info on there then. Only if they ask you for a direct supervisor/boss then put his/her name down.
What about if your past employer (not most recent) got fired and you don't have any other reference? It was an unpaid internship so would it be a big deal if they can't verify it?
This is a really small shop without HR
How thorough are these background checks for summer intern. I may have slightly (really, just slightly) exaggerated the result of my work in a previous work placement on the CV.
Do Civil Infractions show up on a background check?
OK so back in '94 some peeps thought I killed a couple of people (which I totally didn't) and so I fled in a white Bronco. The cops followed me for a while in a nationally televised police chase. I was put on trial (for murder lolz) but was found innocent. Will investment banks be able to find this out during a background check? If so, will having won the Heisman trophy mitigate any issues with HR?
