BB ER vs. 2nd Tier IB Derivatives Sales

Hi,

I am a senior with several offers on hand. The two I am most interested in are:

1) ER in a BB (one of the better teams) - did an internship and was offered position in a neighbouring team
2) Derivative sales in 2nd tier IB (but one of their best teams there)

I know they are quite different. I do not know where I want to end up in the future. I know being in ER leads more naturally to buyside analyst roles, and derivative roles are in general very limited across the industry. Potentially my ideal future job would be someone technical enough to do algo trading but with enough fundamental knowledge to properly train the machines (again not very sure yet).

So would be grateful to anyone who could offer advice on which one to take with information on potential exit paths. Silver bananas for helpful answers.

Thanks,
James
