Best book on trend analysis
Hey everyone,
I am looking for an excellent book about trend analysis (no long term, focused on day-trading/swing-trading). Since there are so many books to choose from (e.g., trend trading for a living, Investing with volume analysis, etc. ) I asked you fellows which book you would recommend? I am looking for a book that does not only describes and explains the basics but also goes a bit deeper and describes/explains the more advanced stuff. The more the better (thus, I don't wan't the thin books of 200 pages or so ;-) )
Thanks.
I picked up Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John Murphy a few years ago. Lengthy but interesting read.
Just wanted to point out that trend analysis implies trend following which trades on much broader time frames in a systematic manner in comparison to day trading.
I definitely second what BSTN05 wrote. I am currently reading Murphy and it's extremely good!
From what I remember Murphy's is a technical analysis book not trending as the op was interested in.
