Breaking into MBB or IB given my current background

I attended a non target state school and was lucky enough to get an offer at a middle market accounting firm (non big 4) in advisory after graduation.

My ultimate career goal is to be in consulting at an MBB or as an Analyst at an investment bank. I would then like to work up the ladder at an MBB, if I choose that route. If I work in Finance, I would want to make the switch to PE/VC after spending 2 or so years at a BB in the IBD. I also want to attend a top business school somewhere in the mix. I am also considering the CFA route to assist in my transition to finance.

My question is: How do I get on the right track in terms of my career goals? I have already applied to firms for this analyst class recruiting cycle and have yet to hear back.

Here are the several potential strategies for achieving this goal:

1) Hope for an MBB/IB offer this recruiting cycle (unlikely)

2) Take the GMAT and enter an MSF program (MIT, etc), and try to break into banking/ MBB using my educational credentials and school network.

3) Continue working at my firm for several years, and then enter a top tier MBA program. But will this be difficult considering my work experience?

4) Continue to network and hope to make the switch to a corporate finance role in industry to facilitate the switch to an MBB and to business school.

Which strategy, if any of the above, would give me the greatest chance of achieving my goal? What else can I do to make the switch? Thanks!
