Charles Tyrwhitt Oxfords

Does anybody have experience with Charles Tyrwhitt oxford sizing? Or with any Charles Tyrwhitt shoe sizing?

I so, what size are you in them? What size are you in Allen Edmonds or any other common U.S. size shoes (Chuck Taylors, Clarks DBs, Nike running shoes, etc.)?

And is the size on the website UK or U.S. sizing?

The oxfords appear similar in the photo to the Park Avenue standard, but are far inferior. I would not recommend them and returned mine after getting them in the mail. They fit similar to AE.

What made them inferior for you? I've never handled them myself. I just returned my Park Avenues. The quality was not what I'd expect from a $350 shoe. I have pairs of To Boot NYs that cost less and are nicer. The fit was also odd: They fit well through the toe, but the heel was loose. I don't see sizing down fixing that. But that's an individual sort of issue.

And do you know whether they use UK or U.S. sizing on the website?

To Boot NY is crap. Thin leather and poor quality compared to AE. It's not even debatable.

If you shop on the UK website, it's UK sizing and if you shop on the US website, it's US sizing. From what I've gleaned from Google, most of CT's shoes are made by Loake, which is a mid- to low-tier British shoemaker. I would personally stay away from CT shoes, at least at the prices they charge for them. Instead, you should check out brands like Meermin and Herring (along with the aforementioned AE). They sell quality shoes for around the same price.
