CUNY Baruch MS Finance for quick rebrand
Hi all,
I need to rebrand, and going the MBA route doesn't seem logical for me.
My background is a business management degree from a non target with a sub 3 gpa. The cost of the program can be paid out of pocket and completed in about a year part time.
Considering this, is this program a worthwhile endeavor in your opinion? I think that it gives me a chance focus on finance and deflect some attention away from the undergrad gpa.
Check the employment report, and see if the employment opportunities align with your goals and are worth the opportunity cost.
The program is new so not placement information yet. That being said, Baruch is a good school in the NYC area and there are a ton of alumni on the street. I think it would be a good option for the younger professional. Also check out Rochester. They have both an MSF and a Masters in Management. Both in the city and both allow you to keep working.
since when is rochester in the city?
They have a campus in NYC for their MSF and MS in Management programs.

Decent option for those working in the city and not looking to leave for their MSF/MSM degree.
