Death by prize bond
This is what I call bad luck... rip
RAWALPINDI: A 60-year-old man named Zarar died upon learning that he had won Rs1,200,000 prize bond on Tuesday, Express News reported.
When told by the bank’s management that he had the winning bond he had a heart attack and died inside the bank before help could arrive.
The bank is in Chungi Number 22 and he was a resident of Rawalpindi belonging to a poor family.

Oh wow, that sucks royally. I always wondered whether this would actually happen in real life. I think this has been used as a gag in numerous comedies.
Wow, this is the real life version of "The Waking of Ned Divine"
LOL.
Check the comments section, left by "Sadaf" (Aug 27, ~4:48 PM). Says the guy died from the heat.
" This news is false! I was at the bank when this man died this morning. He did not die from happiness or excitement but from the heat inside the bank. The workers at the bank were not helping the poor man; he had been sitting at the bank for so many hours. He became ill and the bank workers did not call a doctor to check the man until his heartbeat had completely stopped. This bank has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. There were 90 percent old, sick people sitting in the bank waiting for their turn but most of them kept being refused help by the corrupted, careless workers. They have two air conditioners inside the bank but refused to turn them on. They didn’t even have any fans or even one water cooler so people can take a few sips of water. Today was the first and last time I will ever visit this bank! Shame on these people working there. "
I bet it has been killing its customers...
If I worked at a bank in a 3rd world country I'd be pulling out voodoo dolls and shit on the old customers with no next of kin. They probably pocket some of the money and the bank keeps the rest.
