Deloitte Vs. Cogent Partners

Hey,

I am debating between two jobs. Deloitte FAS Business valuation services and an IBD Analyst program at Cogent Partners.

I was wondering what the exit opps. are. Also, I want to go to into the primary IB market. Which job will facilitate that more easily? Which one gives me higher chances for a top MBA school?

Thank you so much!

Dont know much about Cogent Partners, but I would recommend going IBD over Valuations. 1) you make more, 2) IBD will probably have better exit opps I'd imagine for anything Corp Fin or Strategy related, and 3) During the busy season for Val, you'll be putting just as many hours as IBD people do (although this will only be for 3-4 months out of the yr, as opposed to year round)
