Do All BB's Give S&T Stub Bonus?
Can anyone comment on stub bonuses for S&T? Some posts recently mentioned that Goldman gives a $25k stub to 1st year analysts in S&T to put them on the same pay cycle as everyone else.
Is this a standard at most banks?
yea most banks give stub to S&T first years.
same bonus cycle as the senior ppl.
these stubs are typically very small, and they may not exactly reflect half a year.
$25k is quite good for first year analysts in this market!
Do you know what other banks paid?
...
the stub is like getting a year end bonus for 1/2 year's work (1st yr analysts start in July, stub bonus gets paid out around feb. I assume). So I think your first REAL bonus comes 1.5 years after you first start, but I'm not 100% sure, maybe someone can confirm this?
I heard all BB's gave 15-25K stub. Merrill (Bank of America...) gave 20K.
Your first full year (18 months after you start) is like 2.5x your stub I'm guessing.
yea so far the numbers i heard from friends are in this range. im personally interested in finding out my own.
thanks for the info big unit, much appreciated.
