Dropping out of Part time MBA for Full time program

Hello,
I was attending a part-time MBA program (20-30 ranked) last fall, and after a semester decided to stop going due that the recruitng and fact I could not make a majority of the networking events with my work obligations. I was footing the bill myself and did not think it'd be worth it. I do plan on going back and getting my MBA fulltime at a higher ranked school, but was just curious if this would be frowned upon when applying elsewhere. For what its worth I got an A in all of my classes.

Thanks

If you're confident that you can make it to a top school for full time, then drop it. Part-time MBA takes so long, and I don't see how it helps in finding a job. Most of the recruiters will ask you which year you are in. If you tell them part-time, then forget it.

How do I know? I'm an MBA student and I have spoken with PT student.

Add to this question: will starting a part time program give better leverage to get into a better full time program? For example: if I start a top 20 program part time, can I use the fact that I'm a student there to leverage into a top 7 program?
