Emailed about an Internship I didn't apply for?
Hi all,
I recently had my friend's dad help me refer for an internship that I applied for online. However, he was nice enough to go the extra step and referred me internally at his firm for other opportunities. So because of that, yesterday I received an email from someone at his firm for another internship opportunity. Based on that internship's title, it sounds really interesting. But not only did I not apply for it, but I have no idea what that internship is about even after googling it (no info on it whatsoever). This is the first time I've been referred, so I'm pretty ignorant about this whole process. Should I email back the guy and ask him what that internship is about? Or should I ask my friend's dad who's in a different dept? etc? I don't want to sound ignorant :/
Thanks,
ecl
What is the description of the job? Use the power of WSO!
That's the thing, I can't find the description anywhere, not even on WSO. :/ Should I email the guy to ask? Would I sound ignorant?
Post the job title and see if we can deduce it?
