Equity/stock analyst compensation at a 5bn mutual fund ?

Do you guys have any idea what an analyst at a 5bn mutual fund would make all inclusive?

1+years of experience in audit and 5 months internships in hedge fund before that.

Thanks

What kind of analyst are you talking about? Do you mean analyst as in the "analyst/associate/Investment professional" career progression, or do you mean an actual equity/credit analyst that generates reports for strategists on companies in different sectors?

By analyst I mean researching stock, value business/companies and pitch them to the portfolio managers; so more investment professional track but starti ng basically at the bottom of the food chain. all this would be for a value investing fund (150-200 employees).

That's not a whole lot of experience, so it may be lower just based on the fact that they don't have to match whatever you're making now, but most I know with that size firm get around 150-200 and have really large bonuses based on firm performance. These guys all have a lot of experience and MBA's. I am basing this off 3 Analysts I know at a firm managing 20bb as I am on the PM side and am not in that situation.
