I want to get your opinion on my current dilemma. I'm a Sales Assistant within HY debt group. I am coming to the end of my analyst program & the thing is that I really want to make a move to be a Sales Rep. Currently their are no opportunity to move onto the desk I support. The thing is that people at my bank love me but the slight problem is that my current desk would not want me to go but I have to do what is best for me. I have figured that in order to become a Sales Rep either within my bank or another bank I will have to get an headhunter or start cold calling ( I don't know if this is too wise). What do you guys think. If headhunter, how do I find a good one that will deliver result preferebly by Dec when my analyst program ends.
