Global Investment Research Challenge

Hey fellas,

I'm not sure if any of you have heard of the Global Investment Research Challege, but basically I got offered a spot on my University's team due to my academic performance over my first two years in college. Basically, the competition is an equity research project which will be presented to a "panel of experts." I'm guessing this will take a considerable amount of time, and I am already taking 6 classes, and am running for president of my student body soon. Basically, I was wondering if this would be a good experience for me, worth putting on my resume, or if it wouldn't do much for me. I want to get a job at a BB Investment Bank upon graduation, and currently have an internship at a boutique bank this summer, and have a 3.9 GPA. Any input would be great, thanks!
