Global Macro Exit Opps

What are the exit opps like after spending a year or so at a top name HF? Bunch of my class has started leaving to move on, but have not yet ironed out next steps, and was wondering what the likely next step was.

Background of my analyst class (for the most part): Target Ivy undergrad, economics major -> Top name HF directly out of undergrad

I am happy with my job and how things are going but was very interested how this transition works as my fund's analyst classes are pretty small and the datapoints on exit opps are a limited sample size and appear to be mainly MBAs and long-short shops.

Anyone have any experience/close friends with experience?
