Goldman Sachs Application Developer job titles
Hi
I am recently considering a development role in Goldman Sachs. I have heard that Goldman Sachs maintains an internal job title and an external title for developers.
The internal titles ranges from AD01, AD02 and AD03.
The external titles are similar to the rest of the American banks: Analyst, Associate, Vice President, Executive Director etc.
My question is that:
Does the internal title map into external titles on a one-to-one base? i.e. AD01 = Analyst, AD02 = Associate, AD03=Vice President? Can an AD02 developer be a Vice President? Or can an AD03 developer be an Associate?
