3.7/4.0 or 3.72/4.00. I've heard you should just stick to the formal; otherwise, it's too many digits (what's the big difference between a 3.7 and 3.72 that you have to put it down?)

well i thought it's kind of obvious that the max is 4.0 and it's almost unnecessary to go to 4.00.. and i guess there's not too much a diff. b/w 3.7 and 3.72, but it just shows that you're not a 3.65 rounding upwards... sorry if this was a retarded Q.

Yes I understand the digits after the decimal don't match up...but that makes it more interesting for the reader
