I have a former boss in it who says it's identical to IBD, which was ~40-70k last year, if I'm not mistaken.

In London, the hours are pretty ok. Leave by 11 PM, barely any weekends. It was similar in Singapore too. And yes they do take summer interns. getting an offer is way easier than the IBD slugfest.

yes, gs takes PE interns at undergrad lvl. friend interning in HK with REPIA this summer he mentioned that GS 147 ppl for summer this year. I think the number is way off tangent as thats just too many analysts for any PE shop- but to answer your question
