I have final round interviews for Bain, BCG and McKinsey. Does anyone know what % of people make it to this stage and how many typically get offers? Is the second round still a huge pool for them to cut down from or do they only give second rounds to people who they think would have a good shot?
They are flying me out for the final round (first round done on-campus)

The ballpark numbers are that
The ballpark numbers are that between 20% and 50% of final-rounders get offers. It varies by firm and office; I've heard, though don't know for a fact, that BCG takes a higher percentage of the people who get final rounds than do McKinsey and Bain (i.e. their final round is a more select group); I do know for a fact that at one of my MBB final rounds in a non-NY office they took about half of the people who interviewed because they kept the number of people invited to a final round low.
One of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.
Yea Bain interviews a lot;
Yea Bain interviews a lot; McKinsey a bit less, and BCG even less than that
It might vary office to office but this is generally true
But its no use worrying about % just do your best
I don't want to jack this
I don't want to jack this thread but how similar is IB/S&T?
Congratulations.
Congratulations.

This is my second time at a MBB final round. First time three years ago I was rejected. This time, I am assuming I am rejected. (No response in 6 days). The other applicant with me was also rejected (same day as interviews). These were different offices.
Basically final rounds can still mean rejection.
Depends on firm, region, and
Depends on firm, region, and office, but I can tell you that at my firm and region 20-30% make it through the first round and ~20% of final round interviewees get offers, so call it around 5% of interviewees get an offer
Likelihood of getting to the interviews varies a lot depending on program, e.g., we interview almost every MBA from HBS or Stanford GSB that drops, but less than 1/10 from Dartmouth or Brown undergrad programs get interviews
