I made a thread about "what jobs are great for business school" and a few people said Peace corps, I guess the whole international and humanitarian thing gets the admission commitees' panties wet.

You are also need a good gmat score, excellent essays, excellent recommendations etc.

People that do the Peace Corp don't do it to guarantee themselves a spot at HBS. 2.5 years of your life is a big commitment. I would reconsider volunteering for that long just to get into a top MBA school.
